Our Commitment

Our vision, your future

Woman with sheep

As a company dedicated to animal health, we are committed to making a positive social impact.

Since launching its “Together, beyond animal health” vision in 2010, Ceva has put in place a series of programmes that promote the valuable role animals play in a balanced, healthy society.

Most of the challenges we face in securing a sustainable future can only be dealt with in a connected, global way. Climate change, pandemics and antimicrobial resistance are important issues that require concerted action at an international level. However, real change will only be possible through a multitude of smaller actions at the local level.

Active and committed, our employees, customers and partners unite and work together to act for a healthier future.

We have 4 CSR pillars

Promote and develop the link between humans and animals

As a leader in pet behavior, Ceva supports veterinarians and pet owners in promoting pet well-being and strengthening the human-animal bond.

Supporting associations that develop assistance dogs has become a key priority for Ceva in recent years to make a tangible impact on the lives of beneficiaries:

  • Handi'chiens and Aliénor Sud-Ouest in France;
  • as well as several associations in the UK, Hungary, Sweden, and Australia.

Preserve biodiversity including domesticated and wildlife endangered species

Ceva is committed to protecting biological resources and global biodiversity through a variety of media:

  • Protection of wildlife health via the Ceva Wildlife Research Fund
  • Scientific collaborations: with CNRS to preserve the Amsterdam Island albatross; with Wageningen Bioveterinary Research to develop veterinary vaccines for the control of infectious animal diseases.
  • Safeguarding endangered domestic breeds.
  • Mobilization of teams on site, including local biodiversity audits and mapping operations.

Increase animal welfare of all animals

Ceva partners with EHPAD Equus, a Libourne association, focused on rescuing and rehabilitating horses, sheep, goats that have been neglected or abused and provides these animals with a compassionate environment.

Ceva has signed an agreement with the International Veterinary Students Association (IVSA) and supports its Standing Committee for Animal Welfare, which funds national welfare projects proposed by student associations.

Promote the positive role of animal proteins in people's development

Nearly one billion people suffer from malnutrition, affecting children's brain and bone development. Ceva is committed to ensuring everyone has access to sufficient, healthy, and nutritious food.

Ceva supports farmers in sustainably producing safe protein and engages its employees globally through International Egg Foundation, the "1 egg a day" program in South America and "C Our Future" in Asia.
