Production

By taking a One Ceva approach, manufacturing relies on many disciplines to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our vaccines.

It all starts with our research and development teams. They work with our customers to understand how we can help overcome the challenges they face. Our global manufacturing, supply chain and quality groups work to provide to high quality, innovative, and affordable vaccines across the U.S. and around the world.

Furthermore, Ceva employees are dedicated to continuous improvement by embracing new technologies and processes. This allows us to deliver innovative product for the evolving and expanding vaccine needs of poultry and swine producers.

Commercial Vaccines

Since 2005, Ceva has invested over $100 million in building or improving 216,000 square feet of production space for poultry and swine vaccines. Production output has grown 9x since Ceva acquired the site. This is supported by over 100,000 sq. feet of additional warehouse space in the Kansas City region to support the biologics business. Currently 20 poultry vaccines are produced on the Lenexa Campus.

Besides building a business domestically, vaccines produced in Lenexa are distributed to over 70 countries worldwide.

Autogenous Vaccines

In 2020 Ceva acquired a vaccine production facility in Verona, Wisconsin. After extensive investment the facility was transformed into Ceva's U.S. Autogenous 57,000 sq. ft. production center.

The team works with Ceva's Scientific Support and Investigation Unit and Veterinary Services teams to support customers with autogenous vaccines when commercially licensed vaccines are unavailable.
