Ceva Animal Health has promoted David Hankins to the position of marketing manager, custom vaccines, for its swine and poultry business units. This move will help Ceva manage the rapid growth of its vaccine portfolio while continuing to provide superior service to veterinarians and producers.

"David has been with our company for nearly a decade and has compiled an impressive track record in every position he has held," says Gary Baxter, VP, sales & marketing of the poultry business unit. "Our customers look to him as a partner who provides practical solutions to their animal health problems.”

Hankins will manage all marketing activities for the company's U.S. custom vaccines for poultry and swine. In addition, he will assist with marketing Ceva's broader line of poultry products. The company currently markets a broad range of poultry products, and will launch several promising new swine products during the next few years.

Since joining Ceva in 2007, Hankins has held local and global roles in strategic and key account management; served as regional director for Latin America; and contributed in other positions in sales, business development and marketing. Before joining Ceva, he spent 17 years in sales and marketing positions with another animal health company. Hankins earned a bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Wilmington College.

"We expect 2016 to be one of the most exciting years in Ceva's history," says Gary Robertson, director, swine business unit. "With David in his new position, we are well positioned to capitalize on market opportunities and provide the best possible product and services to our customers."
